Check-in process was terrible, took almost seven hours. Dirty and smelly room with uncleaned bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Mercure! The location was perfect, right between Copacabana and Ipanema, with a fine view of the beach. The breakfast room offered a picturesque view of the entire beach area. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our experience even better. I would highly recommend this hotel for its prime location and amazing views.

Excellent location, close to Copacabana beach, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Clean and spacious rooms, peaceful atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with a good variety of options. Provided beach towels and partnered with a stand for free chairs and umbrellas. 🏖️

This hotel is located in an unbeatable spot just steps away from the beach. the luxurious amenities exceeded our expectations, especially the Spa & wellness centre with a relaxing sauna and indoor swimming pool.
the hotel does have an outdoor swimming pool with a steam room and spa centre to compensate.

The location of this hotel is perfect for those wanting to be close to the beach. The rooftop pool offers an amazing view of Copacabana beach, and the rooms provide a clear view of the surrounding area. the hotel is conveniently located near Ipanema beach, allowing guests to easily visit both iconic beaches.
The bathroom had a constant sewage smell, which was quite nauseating.

The luxurious amenities at this hotel exceeded our expectations. the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, the sauna, and the spa centre were amazing. We enjoyed the poolside snack bar and the restaurant food. the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive.
The location is a bit remote, but we appreciated the hotel's beach access. We didn't have a chance to try the steam room due to maintenance.
